Charity Winter Dinner
Hospices of Hope Moldova is pleased to invite you to a charity dinner dedicated to palliative care patients in the Soroca, Orhei, Ocnita and Taraclia regions. The charity dinner under the title "Charity Winter Dinner" is planned for Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 17:00 in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.
The event, Charity Winter Dinner, aims to raise funds for the development of palliative care services in the Republic of Moldova by redistributing funds to 4 multidisciplinary teams that provide free services for about 200 children and adults who are in terminal stages of illness. Through this event we aim to share the positive stories from the lives of our patients, present the activity of Hospices of Hope Moldova and raise funds for incurable patients.
The dinner ticket is worth 100 Eur per person. Charity Winter Dinner is a charitable event organized by Hospices of Hope Moldova together with the British Embassy in Chisinau. The Charity Winter Dinner is an opportunity to start the winter holiday season in a pleasant atmosphere dedicated to over 200 palliative care patients that receive free home palliative care offered by the multidisciplinary teams that are part of the Hospices of Hope Moldova network and are located in Ocnita, Orhei, Taraclia and Soroca regions.
By organizing this cozy event, you will find out more about the achievements of Hospices of Hope Moldova, our future plans and also, we will raise funds for the beneficiaries who suffer from terminally-ill diseases. We firmly promote the access of all people to free palliative care services and through this event we invite you to take part in this important message that each of the patients has the equal right to live every moment with dignity and without pain, regardless of age or social status.

The person who conducted the gas in the villages in the Taraclia region
Mr. Arcadie, the beneficiary of AO “Angelus Taraclia - part of the National Hospices of Hope Moldova Network, is over 70 years old and is diagnosed with rectal cancer. Arcadie is the person who first conducted the gas in the villages of the Taraclia region, bringing comfort and warmth to many fellow citizens. Mr. Arcadie has been a worker all his life and has favorable living conditions, but he also has a blind, first-degree, blind wife, whom he cares for. Being weak, the man finds strength and continues to take care of his wife with whom they have been together for many years.
The team that takes care of the beneficiary in turn consists of a doctor, a psychologist, a nurse and a social worker. Regularly the beneficiary receives a somatic treatment, he is offered monthly stoma and ulcer processing solutions.
