#HospiceBikeTour – 10th Edition

For 10 years, we've been turning kilometers into hope. For 10 years, we’ve been pedaling for those who can’t. Now is the time to make history together!

This year, for the 10th edition of #HospiceBikeTour, we’re embarking on a 600 km journey from Chișinău to Cluj-Napoca, with a mission more important than ever: to start building an in-patient palliative care unit—where patients can receive specialized care in a safe and compassionate environment.

YOU can be part of this special edition! Be one of the brave cyclists who take on the challenge of riding from Chișinău to Cluj-Napoca for a noble cause with real impact.

Each participant is invited not only to take on the physical challenge of cycling approximately 600 km over 4 days but also to raise 500 EUR - a contribution that will help our beneficiaries at Hospices of Hope Moldova live their final days with dignity and without pain.

▪️Dates: June 14 – June 18, 2025. The ride will take place from Saturday to Tuesday, with a return trip to Chișinău organized for Wednesday.
▪️Duration: 4 days of cycling + 1 day return. Approximately 600 km total.
▪️Destination: Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • A technically reliable bicycle, preferably a road bike + helmet;

  • Physical fitness to complete a 600 km route in 4 days (we kindly request proof via a Strava report or other tracking app);

  • Ability and knowledge to ride in a group/peloton;

  • Willingness to participate (if possible) in training sessions organized by Hospices of Hope Moldova;

  • As this is a charitable tour, each participant is expected to raise at least 500 EUR—to support free palliative care services offered by Hospices of Hope Moldova;

  • Accommodation and meals are not covered by the organizers.

WHAT THE ORGANIZERS PROVIDE:

  • Logistical support to ensure the smooth running of the event (including hotel/meal reservations);

  • Snacks during the ride: water, drinks, fruits, energy bars;

  • Spare parts (within available stock);

  • A custom cycling jersey;

  • Professional photos and video from the tour;

  • Fundraising training as part of the project.
