On February 8, a working meeting was held between Mr. Graham Perolls, Founder of Hospice of Hope Moldova, and Mr. Alexandru Gasnaș, State Secretary of the Ministry of Health. The meeting addressed the organization’s activity priorities for the current year and plans for developing palliative care nationwide.

The activity of Hospice of Hope was reviewed in both Moldova and other Southeast European countries. Notably, progress and development in palliative care in Romania, achieved by partner organization Hospice Casa Speranței, were acknowledged.

The Ministry of Health of Moldova reaffirmed its commitment to consistently support the development of palliative care services in our country. Additionally, interest was expressed in exchanging experiences with Romanian partners to implement best practices in palliative care in Moldova.
