On Wednesday, November 26, Broadway came to life in Chișinău, and all for a profoundly important cause – supporting children and adults suffering from severe incurable illnesses. Hospices of Hope Moldova organized a special event dedicated to hope and relief for those in need of palliative care – the Charity Gala “Broadway Lights of Hope Musical.”

Beloved artists took to the stage, such as Cristina Scarlat, Tatiana Heghea, Lidia Isac, Anna Odobescu, Lucian Advahov, the vocal ensemble InTact-Art, the Jazz Orchestra of the Academy of Music conducted by Petru Hăruță, and Art-Studio Repede. The event was hosted by the incomparable Sergiu Beznitchi.

The gala gathered 200 guests, among them high-ranking representatives of the Government and Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, ambassadors, and international donors accredited in the country.

During this memorable evening, the organization announced the launch of the construction of Moldova’s first palliative care hospital, where both children and adults will be able to receive specialized medical care free of charge. This marks a major step for the healthcare system in the Republic of Moldova. The new hospital is expected to be built within the next three years in the Bubuieci commune, on a 4,100 m² plot of land, and will have a capacity of about 30 beds for both children and adults, serving approximately 250 patients annually.

An evening you simply can’t miss! On November 26, we warmly invite you to the Charity Gala “Broadway Lights of Hope Musical”, organized by Hospices of Hope Moldova. A truly exceptional musical-style show awaits you, like nothing you have seen before, where the magic of the Broadway scenes intertwines with the magic of generosity.

Beloved artists such as Cristina Scarlat, Tatiana Heghea, Lidia Isac, Ana Odobescu, Lucian Advahov, vocal ensemble InTact-Art, Jazz Orchestra of the Academy of Music conducted by Petru Haruta and Art-Studio Repede will take the stage to deliver an unforgettable show with a charitable purpose.

For the first time, Prince Grigore Ghyka, descendant of Grigore Alexandru Ghica, Ruler of Moldova, will attend the event. Traditionally, the event will also be attended by distinguished guests, including high-ranking representatives of the Government and Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, ambassadors, and accredited international donors in the Republic of Moldova.

By simply purchasing a ticket, you become part of a collective effort to offer medical, social, and psychological support, free of charge, to children and adults facing life-timing illnesses.

On September 14, 100 participants of the HopeInMotion team demonstrated that the passion for running can mean much more than sport. They turned each kilometer they ran into hope and relief for people who suffer from incurable illnesses.

They ran 5, 10, 21, and even 42 km in the Chisinau Marathon by maib|Mastercard not only to push their limits, but also to contribute to a cause that changes lives.

The #HopeInMotion team was made up of people with different professions and passions: representers of local and international companies, members of the diplomatic corps, business people, activists, and professional athletes – all united by the same desire: to offer patients suffering from incurable diseases a more dignified and pain-free life.

Each member aimed to cover the chosen distance and to contribute with a participation donation to support the development of free palliative care services across the Republic of Moldova. These services include assistance of the doctor, psychologist, physiotherapist, nurse and social worker, offering the patients precious time with their loved ones.

On September 14, 2025, our capital will host the largest running event in the country: Chișinău Marathon. We warmly invite you to join this beautiful initiative by running for the #HopeInMotion team, in support of the beneficiaries of Hospices of Hope Moldova, people who are battling incurable illnesses.

By participating in this event, you will help provide free medical, social, and psychological care to patients across five regions of the Republic of Moldova, both in our day centers and at home.
