On September 14, 100 participants of the HopeInMotion team demonstrated that the passion for running can mean much more than sport. They turned each kilometer they ran into hope and relief for people who suffer from incurable illnesses.  

They ran 5, 10, 21, and even 42 km in the Chisinau Marathon by maib|Mastercard not only to push their limits, but also to contribute to a cause that changes lives. 

The #HopeInMotion team was made up of people with different professions and passions: representers of local and international companies, members of the diplomatic corps, business people, activists, and professional athletes – all united by the same desire: to offer patients suffering from incurable diseases a more dignified and pain-free life.  

Each member aimed to cover the chosen distance and to contribute with a participation donation to support the development of free palliative care services across the Republic of Moldova. These services include assistance of the doctor, psychologist, physiotherapist, nurse and social worker, offering the patients precious time with their loved ones.  

“We are glad that this year we managed to gather 100 participants in the #HopeInMotion team. We ran together not only to push our personal limits, but also to support children and adults who are facing incurable illnesses and in need of palliative care. Each participant demonstrated that their passion can mean much more. Thank to your support, Hospices of Hope Moldova will be able to continue to provide medical, social, and psychological assistance for those who need it most. Every person needs support in the hardest moments of life, and we are thankful that we can do this thanks teveryone who supports us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”, declared Veronica Dragnev-Sacara, Executive Director of Hospices of Hope Moldova.
